Intellumen Pty Ltd is a Canberra-based consultancy established
in 2001, which provides a range of specialist professional services
that make a positive, practical difference to organisational and
individual performance.
Foremost amongst these services is a substantial expertise in the
psychological assessment of occupational suitability, particularly
in senior or security-designated positions. This skill may be used
in support of an organisation or an individual and the assessment
is always undertaken by a registered and experienced psychologist.
The consultancy has procedures that ensure the confidentiality of
these processes.
Intellumen also advises on the leadership and management of change
and on the complicated areas of managing terminations and difficult
employment situations. As well, it has professional expertise in
the fields of conflict resolution and mediation, counselling, coaching
and mentoring, and in the resolution of ethical issues. The consultancy
also offers professional advice and assistance in all aspects of
the staff selection and recruitment process.

The principals of Intellumen are both experienced human resource
executives. Michael Brown is a former SES level public sector manager
with recent experience at the CEO level in the NGO sector and at
Board level in the Finance industry. Pamela Matthews Brown is a
registered psychologist and former executive level public sector
manager with recent experience as ACT manager of a major national
employee assistance provider. The consultancy is also assisted
in its work by a further ten highly trained and experienced psychologists.
Among the programs offered by Intellumen is Springboard.
Originally developed by the BBC to retain and assist valuable employees,
Springboard was introduced to Australia in 1993 and is specifically
for women in non-management areas. It is run one day a month over
three months and has won the Lady Platt Award for innovative Equal
Opportunities Training and the National Training Award (UK) for
quality and excellence in training. |
